Teacher Joyce is an outstanding teacher who carries out effective lessons and provides advanced notes that always helped me stay ahead of the curve. She has been incredibly consistent throughout her teaching me from P3 to Year 5 IB. 

During PSLE, she gave summarized yet effective oral notes and practices, an extremely comprehensive list of composition phrases and good comprehension practices. The high standard was maintained even as I did O levels and finally, the IB exams. 

Through different approaches such as concise explanations, practice sessions, memorizing notes and in- depth discussions, I gained a well-rounded understanding in Chinese and have been able to consistently score well. In addition, she is very personable and easy to understand, explaining things in English when necessary, yet encouraging me to speak in Chinese throughout lessons to maintain my language proficiency and push me beyond my comfort zone when learning.

She is truly a brilliant teacher, and I would not be where I am without her.
